Job description
Are you a creative and passionate Art specialist looking for a new opportunity within a supportive and high-performing school? This could be an excellent opportunity to join a thriving department on a maternity cover basis. • Excellent secondary school based in Portsmouth • Art Teacher to join a successful and well-resourced Art & Design department • Full-time maternity cover | April start Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Art Teacher to join an excellent school in Portsmouth from April on a maternity cover contract. The successful Art Teacher will deliver engaging and creative lessons across KS3 & KS4, with the potential to contribute to KS5 depending on experience. The Art department is well established and benefits from dedicated studio space, a wide range of materials, and a collaborative team that values creativity and high standards. You will be supported by an experienced Head of Department who promotes innovation, strong curriculum planning, and excellent outcomes. This role would suit an experienced teacher or ECT who is confident delivering high-quality lessons and fostering creativity in students. School Information This excellent secondary school is known for its positive ethos, strong behaviour, and commitment to both academic achievement and the creative arts. Students are engaged and respectful, and leadership is supportive and forward-thinking. Staff benefit from a welcoming working environment, strong CPD opportunities, and a collaborative culture.
