Job description
Science Technician – Outstanding Secondary School, Merton Start Date: As soon as possible Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to scale School Information This Outstanding secondary school in Merton serves students aged 11–18 and is known for its strong Science provision and commitment to practical learning. The school promotes curiosity, experimentation, and academic excellence through well-resourced laboratories and a supportive learning environment. Role Information The school is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Science Technician to support the Science Department. You will be responsible for preparing practical equipment, maintaining laboratories, and ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times. The role involves supporting lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, managing stock and resources, and assisting teaching staff with demonstrations and practical activities. You will play a vital role in enabling high-quality science teaching and learning.
