Quantitative Excellence: Enhance students’ ability to interpret complex data sets and econometric models, fostering a university-style approach to research and analysis. The Candidate Academic Pedigree: A First-Class or Upper Second-Class degree in Economics or a related discipline from a Russell Group University (e.g., LSE, Oxbridge, UCL, Warwick). A Master's or PhD is highly advantageous. Subject Authority: A profound understanding of both Micro and Macroeconomic theory, with the ability to discuss contemporary issues—from central bank monetary policy to the economics of climate change—with scholarly depth. Analytical Flair: The ability to teach students how to construct elegant, data-driven arguments and critically evaluate the limitations of traditional economic models. Scholarly Presence: An articulate and engaging educator who can lead seminar-style discussions and thrive in an intellectually vibrant environment.
