Job description
History Teacher – Instil Academic Rigour and Historical Scholarship in a Prestigious West London School – Kensington & Chelsea A prestigious, academic secondary school in Kensington & Chelsea requires a highly capable History Teacher with a passion for historical scholarship from January 2026. History Specialist required from January 2026 Kensington & Chelsea-based school with a rigorous focus on academic excellence. Ideal for a teacher committed to source analysis and developing challenging historical essays. You will teach History across KS3–KS5 (A-Level), with a significant focus on rigorous analytical skills. The role involves designing a challenging curriculum that emphasizes historiography, critical evaluation of sources, and preparing students for competitive applications in Humanities. Experience and Qualifications QTS and a degree in History (Post-graduate qualification preferred). Proven ability to achieve high grades at A-Level History . Experience or capacity to mentor motivated students for EPQ projects. Commitment to maintaining a structured and rigorous classroom.
