Are you an experienced and passionate teacher ready for the next step in your career? We’re looking for a KS2 Lead Teacher to join our thriving school in Redbridge, starting in September 2025. KS2 Lead Teacher Role Start Date: September 2025 Location: Redbridge Working Hours: Full-Time Contract Type: Permanent The School Our vibrant 2-form entry school in Redbridge is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic KS2 Lead Teacher to take on a leadership role within the Key Stage 2 team. KS2 Lead Teacher Responsibilities Lead, inspire, and support the KS2 team, promoting high standards of teaching and learning. Develop and implement creative and effective lesson plans that engage and challenge KS2 students. Oversee the delivery of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of all students. Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted feedback and interventions to support achievement. Develop and lead staff training and professional development opportunities within KS2. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes high expectations and a love of learning. Regularly communicate with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns. Contribute to whole-school initiatives and collaborate with other leadership team members to drive school improvement. Be an active member of the school leadership team, participating in meetings, strategy planning, and school-wide activities. KS2 Lead Teacher Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Significant experience teaching in Key Stage 2, with a strong track record of improving student outcomes. Experience in a leadership role or with leading teams is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective assessment methods. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others. A passionate leader who is committed to fostering an inclusive and high-achieving learning environment. A collaborative, forward-thinking approach to leadership and school improvement. Commitment to ongoing professional development and supporting others in their growth.
