Job description
Are you a passionate Food Technology Teacher with a flair for creativity and nutrition education? A top-performing independent school in Gloucestershire is seeking an engaging and innovative Food Technology Teacher to join its Technology Faculty from January 2026. This is a full-time, permanent position within a supportive, high-achieving environment. The Role You will teach Food Preparation and Nutrition from KS3–KS5, guiding students through the art and science of cooking, diet, and health. The department promotes sustainable and healthy lifestyles through lessons that combine practical cooking with theoretical study in nutrition, environmental awareness, and food culture. You’ll also play an active role in developing extracurricular opportunities, including cooking clubs, hospitality events, and competitions such as the “Young Chef Challenge.” The School This well-established independent school educates around 900 pupils aged 11–18, with over 65% achieving A or A* grades at A-Level in 2024. Known for its outstanding pastoral care and community ethos, the school balances tradition with innovation.
