Job description
A forward-looking secondary school in Hull is seeking an ECT in Food Technology from December 2025. The position involves teaching Food Technology across KS3 and KS4, helping students gain practical skills, and leading food‐related clubs. Full-time ECT appointment beginning December 2025 Located in Hull, East Yorkshire Teach Food Technology across KS3/KS4 with practical workshop work This is a great chance for a new teacher who enjoys hands‑on teaching and wants to help pupils develop life skills alongside academic progress. The department has modern facilities and strong links with local industry for enrichment. Experience and Qualifications QTS within recent years (ECT) Specialism in Food Technology, Home Economics or related subjects Good practical skills, safe workshop practice Legal right to work in the UK School Information The school supports ECTs through structured induction, regular observation, and workshops. It has well‑equipped food tech rooms, and a history of student success in vocational qualifications.
