Your Role as a History ECT Plan and deliver engaging and rigorous History lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. Encourage students to think critically about historical events, sources, and interpretations. Work closely with an experienced mentor and participate in regular training to refine your teaching practice. Inspire a passion for historical inquiry, debate, and research. Contribute to extracurricular activities, such as history clubs, trips, and guest speaker events. What We Are Looking For A passionate and motivated History graduate with QTS (or working towards it). A commitment to engaging and thought-provoking teaching. An excellent communicator who thrives in a collaborative teaching environment.
