Job description
Permanent | Full-Time An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maths ECT to join an Outstanding and inclusive secondary school in Liverpool. This is a full-time, permanent role , providing excellent mentoring, structured ECT support, and long-term professional development. • Maths ECT required to work full-time • Outstanding mixed secondary school in Liverpool • Supportive and high-performing Mathematics department with a strong ECT programme This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and motivated Early Career Teacher to begin their teaching career in a school with high standards, excellent behaviour, and a nurturing professional culture. The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4 , with potential KS5 involvement for suitable candidates. Experience and Qualifications • Maths ECT (PGCE or equivalent completed) • Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Mathematics teaching • Willingness to engage in mentoring, training, and reflective practice • Legal right to work in the UK School Information This 11–18 mixed secondary school in Liverpool is rated Outstanding by Ofsted and is widely recognised for its strong academic performance, inclusive ethos, and positive learning environment. With around 1,200 students on roll, the school offers excellent facilities, modern teaching spaces, and a thriving Sixth Form. The Mathematics department is collaborative and well-resourced, with clear schemes of work and a strong commitment to supporting Early Career Teachers through mentoring, coaching, and ongoing CPD.
