Job description
Are you a passionate Business Teacher eager to inspire the next generation of business minds? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Business Teacher to join a thriving academic community in Walsall. If you have a passion for business studies and a commitment to teaching students at KS4 and KS5, we would love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and insightful business lessons to students at KS4 and KS5. Develop and implement a dynamic curriculum that fosters critical thinking, business acumen, and real-world applications. Assess and monitor student progress through both formative and summative assessments. Provide constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their full potential. Encourage a passion for business, entrepreneurship, and the economic landscape in students. Foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports independent thought and collaboration. Work closely with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of student progress and achievements. Qualifications and Experience: A degree in Business, Business Education, or a related field. A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent). Proven experience teaching business studies at KS4 and KS5. Strong knowledge of business concepts, theories, and practices. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and inspire students. Ability to create a supportive learning environment where students can thrive. Skills and Attributes: Passionate about teaching business and motivating students. Creative in lesson delivery, with the ability to make business concepts accessible. Strong organizational and time management skills. Collaborative and able to work well with colleagues to achieve common goals.
