Job description
A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Nuneaton is seeking a dedicated Attendance & Admissions Officer to join its pastoral and administrative team from January 2026 . The Role You will oversee daily attendance processes, liaise with families, support admissions procedures and work closely with pastoral leaders to improve attendance outcomes. The role requires empathy, professionalism and strong organisational skills. You will play a key role in supporting students and families, particularly during transition points. The School The school has a strong pastoral ethos and works closely with families and external agencies. Attendance is taken seriously, but always approached with care and consistency. Ideal Candidate Experience in attendance, admissions or school administration Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle sensitive situations professionally Confident working with data and reporting systems A fulfilling role for someone who wants to make a real difference to students’ engagement with education.
