Job description
We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and academically capable Science ECT to join an Outstanding secondary school in Colchester from January . This role is ideal for a Newly Qualified Teacher looking to develop strong classroom practice within a well-established and supportive Science department. You will deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3–KS4 , supported by a comprehensive ECT programme that includes reduced teaching load, weekly mentoring, structured CPD and regular opportunities for observation and feedback. The Science department is well resourced, offering modern laboratories, specialist equipment and experienced technician support. Experience and Qualifications Degree in a Science discipline PGCE with QTS Ability to teach Science to KS3–KS4 Good subject knowledge and enthusiasm for practical science Strong commitment to professional development and student progress Salary Paid to scale in line with MPS1 .
