Job description
English and Drama Teacher - A Double Act in Wandsworth! An Outstanding school in Wandsworth is seeking a versatile and enthusiastic educator to join their team as an English and Drama Teacher . This is a unique and exciting opportunity to teach across two highly complementary subjects, fostering creativity, communication, and a love of language and performance. Role Responsibilities: This English and Drama Teacher position, with remuneration on the MPS/UPS scale, will involve: Teaching both English and Drama to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students (with potential for Key Stage 5, depending on experience). Developing and delivering engaging lessons that integrate both subjects where appropriate. Cultivating students' reading, writing, speaking, acting, and performance skills. Inspiring a passion for literature, theatre, and creative expression. Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback in both disciplines. To work at a popular, Outstanding school. Ideal Candidate Profile: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in either English or Drama (or both). Proven experience teaching both English and Drama at the secondary level.
