Job description
Geography Teacher required January 2026 Mixed secondary school based in Peterborough Geography Teacher to join a successful and well-resourced Humanities faculty Our Client is looking for a Geography Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Peterborough. The successful candidate will teach KS3 and KS4 Geography, with opportunities to contribute to fieldwork provision and wider curriculum enrichment. School Information This large 11–18 school educates approximately 1,400 pupils and maintains strong outcomes across Humanities subjects. The Geography department benefits from specialist classrooms, digital GIS resources, enquiry-based curricula and a strong uptake at GCSE. Staff describe the working environment as professional, collaborative and well supported. Leadership is highly visible and committed to staff wellbeing and long-term development. Teachers benefit from regular subject-specific CPD, mentoring opportunities and shared planning structures.
