🛠️ Design & Technology Teacher – Hammersmith, Inner London 📐 Inspire Creativity and Innovation in a Premier West London School, Start January 2026 We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled, and committed Design & Technology Teacher to join the successful Technology faculty at a high-achieving secondary school/academy in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham . This is a Full-Time, Permanent Position starting in January 2026 (or sooner). Design & Technology Teacher required (Main/Upper Pay Scale) Full-time, Permanent position starting January 2026 High-achieving secondary school in Hammersmith, Inner London Teach DT across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 (GCSE/A-Level/Vocational) The Opportunity The successful applicant will be an inspirational and highly effective DT specialist dedicated to delivering engaging and rigorous practical and theoretical lessons. This is an excellent opportunity to teach within a well-resourced department, fostering students' problem-solving skills and creative application across different material areas (e.g., Resistant Materials, Graphics, Product Design). This is a dedicated classroom teacher role within a supportive department. The school is committed to continuous staff development, offering excellent mentoring and CPD for all staff and pathways for those who aspire to take on future leadership responsibilities (TLR) . The School This is a highly respected school located in a desirable Inner London borough, known for its strong academic results and its commitment to creativity and innovation. The DT department is highly valued, often boasting excellent specialist workshops and resources, and plays a vital role in providing a broad and challenging curriculum. The school provides a supportive, collaborative working environment and benefits from excellent transport links across Central and West London. We Are Looking For: A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) . A proven track record as an excellent Design & Technology Teacher , with the ability to confidently teach GCSE and A-Level DT (or BTEC equivalent). Strong subject knowledge and practical skills across multiple DT disciplines (please specify your core specialism). A genuine passion for the subject and the ability to inspire high levels of engagement, safety, and technical proficiency across a diverse student body. A collaborative mindset, committed to contributing positively to departmental planning and managing workshop resources effectively. Salary and Benefits Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS) for Inner London Teachers (currently £40,317 - £62,496 for 2025/2026).
