The Role As a Year 1 Teacher , you will play a key role in shaping pupils’ early primary experiences, delivering a rich and engaging curriculum, and supporting each child to reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons aligned with the national curriculum. Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported. Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to drive development. Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support children’s learning and well-being. Contribute to the wider life of the school through assemblies, events, and enrichment activities. Candidate Profile We are seeking a teacher who: Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent. Has experience teaching Key Stage 1 , preferably Year 1. Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills. Is committed to fostering pupils’ academic, social, and emotional growth.
