Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Sociology Teacher to join an Outstanding Ofsted-rated mixed gender secondary school in Barnet. This full-time, permanent position, with an ASAP start, offers a chance to make a significant impact on students' sociological understanding. About the Role: As a Sociology Teacher, you will deliver an engaging Sociology curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to become confident and analytical thinkers. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging Sociology lessons. Foster a stimulating learning environment. Implement innovative teaching strategies. Assess and monitor student progress. Collaborate to refine the curriculum. Participate in extracurricular activities. Ideal Candidate: Passion for Sociology. Teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent). Experience teaching Sociology at secondary level. Excellent communication skills. Commitment to inclusive learning. Ability to motivate students.
