SENCO – Outstanding and Inclusive Secondary School – Bristol – ASAP Start 📍 Location: Bristol 📄 Contract: Full-Time, Permanent 💰 Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance A thriving and inclusive secondary school in Bristol is seeking a dedicated and experienced SENCO to lead their Special Educational Needs (SEN) provision. The school is known for its commitment to ensuring that every student, regardless of ability or background, receives the support they need to thrive. Your Role as SENCO: ✔ Lead the school’s SEN provision, ensuring that students with additional needs receive the right support. ✔ Oversee EHCPs, targeted interventions, and collaboration with external agencies. ✔ Work closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop individualized learning plans. ✔ Ensure compliance with SEND legislation and best practices in education. ✔ Provide training and guidance to staff to enhance SEN support across the school. Who We’re Looking For: ✔ A qualified teacher with SENCO accreditation (or willingness to obtain it). ✔ Experience in managing SEN provision in a secondary school setting. ✔ Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a commitment to inclusion. ✔ A deep understanding of SEN strategies and legislation. ✔ Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
