Job description
Role Status & Location Position: Site Manager (Senior Support Staff). Sector: Outstanding Ofsted-rated Secondary Academy. Location: Enfield, Outer London. Start Date: Permanent, full-time role commencing January 2026. The Opportunity & School Profile This Outstanding academy in Enfield requires a highly motivated Site Manager committed to operational excellence. The role demands a hands-on, proactive approach to site management, ensuring the teaching and learning environment is consistently safe, compliant, and well-presented for the whole school community. Core Responsibilities & Scope Operational Leadership: Overseeing the site team and managing the day-to-day operation of the academy's campus facilities. Compliance & Safety: Full responsibility for H&S compliance, fire safety, and ensuring all statutory inspections across the site. Lettings & Usage: Managing the logistical and security aspects of school lettings and community use during evenings and weekends. Compensation & Benefits Contract: Full-Time, Permanent (52 weeks per year). Salary Range: £38,000 - £46,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Essential Requirements: Proven experience in a school site management role, with strong maintenance and H&S knowledge (e.g., IOSH/NEBOSH).
