Psychology & Sociology Teacher | ASAP Start | West London Are you an expert in the social sciences ready to explore the complexities of the human mind and society with motivated students? We are seeking a versatile and intellectually curious Psychology and Sociology Teacher to join a high-performing Social Sciences faculty at a well-regarded secondary school in West London . This is a full-time, permanent position available for an immediate (ASAP) start , offering the opportunity to teach two of the most popular and thought-provoking subjects at Key Stage 5. Key Details: Role: Psychology & Sociology Teacher Start Date: ASAP (January/February 2026) Contract: Full-time, Permanent Location: West London (Excellent transport links across Ealing, Hounslow, and Hillingdon) Curriculum: A-Level Psychology and A-Level Sociology (KS5); potential for GCSE delivery at KS4. Salary: Outer London Main/Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS). The Opportunity This dual-specialism role is perfect for a teacher who enjoys the intersection of individual behavior and societal structures. You will be responsible for delivering rigorous A-Level lessons that challenge students to think critically about the world they inhabit. In Psychology , you will cover core areas such as memory, attachment, and biopsychology. In Sociology , you will lead discussions on social inequality, education, and the impact of globalization. The department is a hub for debate and research-led teaching, providing students with the analytical tools needed for success at university and beyond.
