Job description
Are you ready to drive outstanding creative outcomes? Lead our exceptional Art department in Newham! Our exceptional Newham school is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented leader to become our Head of Art. You will be responsible for ensuring outstanding progress and achievement for all students in Art across all key stages. Key Responsibilities: Set high expectations and drive continuous improvement within the Art department. Analyse student performance data in Art and implement strategies for maximizing progress. Lead the development and implementation of effective assessment practices in Art. Line manage and support the professional growth of Art teachers. Ensure the department adheres to school policies and procedures. Contribute to the school's self-evaluation and improvement planning. Excellent organizational, strategic planning, and implementation skills. A commitment to excellence and raising standards in Art education.
