Music Teacher – Birmingham – Inspire the Soundtrack of Tomorrow An Outstanding secondary school in Birmingham is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join their thriving Music department. The Power of Music: This full-time, permanent Music Teacher position (paid on the MPS/UPS scale) involves: Delivering vibrant and engaging Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5). Inspiring students to develop their musical abilities, from theory to performance. Encouraging students to explore different genres of music and creative expression. Building a supportive environment for students to express themselves through singing, playing instruments, and composing. Assessing student progress and offering constructive feedback to help them grow musically. Your Musical Skillset: The ideal Music Teacher will have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Proven experience teaching Music at secondary school level. A strong understanding of music theory, composition, and performance. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. A passion for nurturing the musical talents of students and inspiring a lifelong love of music.
