Job Description: Are you a passionate Business & Economics ECT looking to develop your teaching career? A supportive secondary school in Chatham is recruiting a full-time Business & Economics ECT to join their Business & Economics department from January 2026. Location: Chatham Start Date: January 2026 Salary: Paid on the ECT scale as per national guidance About the School: The school offers strong mentorship, a collaborative Business & Economics team, and access to excellent resources to support your development. Why This Role is Ideal for You: • Teach Mathematics at KS3 and KS4 • Receive high-quality support and professional development • Work within a nurturing and innovative department Your Role: • Plan and deliver engaging Business & Economics lessons appropriate for ECTs • Develop reasoning and problem-solving skills in pupils • Participate in departmental planning and assessment moderation • Take part in whole-school initiatives and ECT training The Ideal Candidate Will: • Hold QTS and be within their first two years of teaching (ECT) • Have a passion for Business & Economics education and student progress • Be committed to developing their teaching skills • Have the legal right to work in the UK How to Apply: If you are an enthusiastic Business & Economics ECT ready to grow professionally, please submit your CV to apply for this role in Chatham.
