Job description
A welcoming and ambitious primary school in Northamptonshire is looking for a dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join their team from January 2026 . Start Date: January 2026 Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and engaging Year 2 lessons across the curriculum Support pupils’ literacy, numeracy, and personal development, fostering independence and confidence Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and setting learning targets Collaborate with colleagues and teaching assistants to maintain high-quality provision Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support learning and wellbeing Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development About the School This Northamptonshire primary school is known for its inclusive ethos, strong leadership, and dedication to pupil achievement.
