Psychology and Sociology Teacher – Double Your Impact An Outstanding secondary school is seeking a versatile and passionate educator to teach both Psychology and Sociology . This role is Full time and Permanent, offering compesnation on the MPS/UPS Scale. The Interdisciplinary Advantage: This Psychology and Sociology Teacher role offers the chance to: Teach both subjects, primarily to Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students. Draw connections between psychological and sociological perspectives, enriching students' understanding. Develop engaging and thought-provoking lessons that cover a wide range of topics. Foster critical thinking, research skills, and an appreciation for diverse perspectives. Prepare students for success in GCSE and A-Level examinations in both subjects. To be a teacher at an Outstanding school Your Dual Expertise: The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher (QTS) with: A degree in Psychology, Sociology, or a closely related field. Proven experience teaching both Psychology and Sociology at the secondary level, preferably including A-Level. A strong understanding of both disciplines and the ability to integrate them effectively. Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
