Job description
A well-established independent co-educational school in Staffordshire is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Teacher of German to join its successful Modern Languages department. This is a rare opportunity to teach German in a setting where languages are highly valued and form an important part of the school’s academic identity. The Role You will teach German across KS3–KS5 , with the opportunity to contribute to GCSE and A-Level teaching depending on experience. Lessons focus on linguistic accuracy, confidence in spoken language and cultural understanding, with a clear emphasis on long-term language retention. Students are motivated, articulate and respond well to challenge. Teachers are encouraged to use a variety of approaches, combining structured grammar instruction with authentic communication and cultural context.
