Job description
We are seeking a motivated and engaging Year 5 Teacher to join our welcoming and ambitious Primary School in Birmingham. This is a permanent role offering the opportunity to prepare pupils for the final year of Key Stage 2. Key Information Position: Year 5 Teacher Start Date: January 2025 Contract Type: Permanent Working Pattern: 5 days per week, Term Time Only Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience) Suitable for: Experienced or Early Career Teachers (ECTs welcome) About the Role As a reflective and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher , you will plan and deliver engaging lessons that challenge pupils and develop independence. The successful candidate will embrace the responsibilities of a Year 5 Teacher , working closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure all pupils achieve their potential. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality lessons as a Year 5 Teacher Support and challenge pupils of all abilities Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment as a Year 5 Teacher Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community Contribute to the school’s ethos of high expectations, achievement, and care What We’re Looking For Hold QTS and a secure understanding of the KS2 curriculum Are innovative, reflective, and enthusiastic as a Year 5 Teacher Can inspire pupils and foster a love of learning Thrive in a collaborative and supportive school environment What the School Offers A welcoming and ambitious school community Motivated and confident pupils Professional development opportunities for Year 5 Teachers Strong ethos of inclusion, achievement, and care How to Apply If you are a dedicated and inspiring Year 5 Teacher ready to take on this permanent role in Birmingham, we would love to hear from you.
