Job description
About the Role: An Outstanding school in Islington is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join their high-achieving Science department. This full-time, permanent role is available for a September start, offering an exciting opportunity to inspire young scientists and foster a love of scientific inquiry. About the School: This school is committed to providing a high-quality education with a strong emphasis on STEM subjects. The Science department boasts state-of-the-art laboratories, cutting-edge equipment, and a dedicated team of experienced science teachers. Responsibilities: Deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3-4, covering Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities. Conduct practical experiments and investigations, fostering students' scientific inquiry and problem-solving skills. Assess and monitor student progress effectively, providing constructive feedback to support their growth. Contribute to the development and implementation of the Science curriculum. Actively participate in the school community, contributing to science clubs and STEM events. Ideal Candidate: Passionate about Science and a strong commitment to inspiring young learners. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Proven experience teaching Science at the secondary level. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Creative and innovative teaching approach.
