Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher to join a high-achieving Secondary school in Tunbridge Wells. This is a full-time, permanent position to start immediately. This role is ideal for a teacher passionate about inspiring the next generation. The Role As a Maths Teacher, you will: Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across KS3–KS5, enabling students to achieve their full potential. Contribute to the ongoing success of a well-resourced, high-performing Maths department. Support students in developing a genuine love for PE, including opportunities for extracurricular activities. Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain the school’s outstanding standards in teaching, learning, and behaviour. Recent results include: 85% A–B at A-level Maths 89% GCSE grades 9–7 across the school Key features: Over-subscribed and highly respected within the community State-of-the-art facilities and teaching resources A culture of high aspiration, mutual respect, and outstanding behaviour Strong commitment to pastoral care, ensuring every student feels supported and valued Extensive professional development opportunities for staff Ethos rooted in tradition and academic excellence while embracing forward-thinking approaches Candidate Requirements We are looking for a teacher who: Is a qualified teacher of Maths with QTS (PGCE or equivalent) Is a confident classroom practitioner with excellent subject knowledge Can inspire students of all abilities through creative and dynamic teaching Is enthusiastic about contributing to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities Is legally able to work in the UK Salary Paid according to Main Pay Scale (MPS) / Upper Pay Scale (UPS) , commensurate with experience Why Join This School?
