Job description
Are you a passionate and dedicated Psychology Teacher seeking a new opportunity in an outstanding school? We are looking for an enthusiastic Psychology Teacher to join a thriving department in a high-achieving school in Coventry , starting in February 2026 . This is a full-time, permanent position and we welcome applications from experienced Psychology Teachers as well as ECTs. About the Psychology Department The Psychology department is a vibrant and successful part of the school, with a strong record of results and increasing student interest at KS4 and KS5. As a Psychology Teacher, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the department’s continued success and help shape the future of Psychology education at the school. About the Role As a Psychology Teacher, your responsibilities will include: • Teaching Psychology across Key Stages 4 and 5. • Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a diverse range of learners. • Assessing student progress, setting targets, and providing constructive feedback. • Contributing to curriculum development and resource creation. • Creating and maintaining a stimulating and supportive classroom environment. • Working collaboratively with colleagues within the department and across the school. • Participating in relevant professional development opportunities. Experience and Qualifications • Psychology-related Degree • QTS or PGCE • Ability to teach Psychology to KS4–KS5 • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Psychology Salary The salary for this Psychology Teacher position will be paid to scale (MPS/UPS).
