Job description
School Status & Location Sector: Leading Independent Secondary School (11-18). Borough: Islington (Inner London, England). Start Date: Permanent, full-time role commencing ASAP. The Opportunity & School Profile A fantastic opportunity for a Maths ECT in an academically rigorous Islington setting. Our ECT support specializes in pedagogical communication, helping you stretch high-ability pupils through advanced problem-solving and logical reasoning. Core Responsibilities & Teaching Scope Numerical Mastery: Instructing Mathematics across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE) only. Logical Rigour: Challenging students with a curriculum that goes beyond the standard syllabus, preparing them for future A-Level success. Induction Focus: Evidence-gathering for the ECF with a focus on mastery-based teaching and high-attainer differentiation. Compensation & Benefits Essential Requirements: Hold QTS. Relevant Degree in Mathematics or Engineering. Salary: Competitive pay reflecting Inner London weighting and independent sector standards.
