Job description
Do you want to work in a diverse, inclusive school with a strong sense of community? • School Administrator • Full time • January 2026 start • Secondary school environment • Well-established support staff team An ambitious and inclusive secondary school in Slough is looking to appoint a School Administrator on a full-time, permanent basis from January 2026. The role involves supporting the school office with daily administrative operations, ensuring the smooth running of systems and communications. Responsibilities include reception management, student records, attendance tracking, liaising with parents, and supporting safeguarding and pastoral processes. The school values administrators who are calm, approachable, and detail-oriented. School Information The school educates approximately 1,300 students aged 11–18 and is well regarded for its inclusive ethos and strong relationships between staff and students. Leadership is supportive and values the contribution of support staff at all levels. The administration team is collaborative, well-organised, and central to the school’s success. Systems are clear, training is provided, and staff benefit from a positive working culture. Experience and Qualifications • Experience in a school or busy office environment • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills • Familiarity with school systems and safeguarding processes • Ability to work effectively as part of a team Salary Paid to scale on a direct contract, dependent on experience.
