Job description
Foster a culture of critical thinking and inquiry as Head of Psychology in our outstanding Newham school! We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced leader to head our Psychology provision. You will champion a student-centered approach, encouraging analytical skills and a deep understanding of psychological research and methodologies. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the Psychology department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning. Develop and deliver an engaging Psychology curriculum at GCSE and A-Level. Promote critical evaluation of psychological theories and research. Implement effective assessment and feedback strategies. Support the professional development of Psychology teachers (if applicable). Contribute to the school's focus on academic excellence. We Offer: Competitive leadership salary and benefits package. Strong understanding of research methods and ethical considerations in Psychology. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
