Job description
Are you passionate about physical education and committed to helping students develop healthy, active lifestyles? A dynamic and high-achieving secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a talented PE Teacher to join their team from April 2025. This is a full-time, temporary role with the opportunity to teach PE from KS3 through to KS5 , within a school that values energy, dedication, and teamwork. Start Date: Easter 2025 Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary Key Stages: KS3 – KS5 Location: Stoke-on-Trent Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience) Suitable for: ECTs and experienced PE Teachers About the Role This is an exciting opportunity for a Physical Education teacher who thrives on motivating students and creating inclusive, engaging lessons. You’ll be teaching a broad and balanced PE curriculum, inspiring students to participate in sport, develop their skills, and understand the importance of health and fitness. What We’re Looking For: A degree in Sport, Physical Education or a related subject QTS or PGCE A strong understanding of the PE curriculum across all key stages The ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities A team player who thrives in a collaborative school culture Salary The successful candidate will be paid in line with the Main Pay Scale or Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS), depending on experience.
