SENCo – Inclusive Secondary School – Weymouth – September Start Location: Weymouth Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: L3-L7 An outstanding secondary school in Weymouth is looking for a dynamic and experienced SENCo to join their inclusive learning environment. The school is seeking a passionate leader to develop and implement the school's SEN strategy while ensuring that all students with additional needs are supported to thrive academically and personally. Your Role as SENCo: Lead and manage the SEN provision across the school, ensuring that all students with SEND have access to a high-quality education. Work closely with the SLT, teachers, and parents to ensure personalized learning plans are in place for all students. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of interventions, adjusting as needed to maximize impact. Provide leadership and support to a team of SEN staff, offering guidance and professional development. Ensure that the school meets the SEN requirements for Ofsted inspections. What We’re Looking For: A qualified SENCo (or willing to complete SENCo qualification within the first year). Extensive experience in SEND teaching and working with students with various learning needs. Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage a team.
