Your Role as an Art Teacher: 🔹 Plan and deliver engaging and creative Art lessons that meet the individual needs of students. 🔹 Use innovative teaching techniques to inspire and encourage students who may have struggled in traditional settings. 🔹 Provide personalised learning pathways that help students build confidence and discover their artistic abilities. 🔹 Support the emotional and social development of students, helping them engage positively in education. 🔹 Work closely with staff and external professionals to create bespoke learning plans and interventions. 🔹 Help students prepare for their future pathways by fostering practical skills and self-expression through Art. Who We’re Looking For: ✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in teaching Art . ✅ A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable students and helping them succeed. ✅ Strong communication and relationship-building skills , especially in a challenging environment. ✅ Creative and flexible teaching approach to adapt lessons to the needs of individual students. ✅ Experience working with students with SEMH, additional needs, or challenging behaviors is a plus. ✅ Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
