Geography Teacher – Structured and community-oriented comprehensive school – Hackney Our client is seeking a committed Geography Teacher to join a structured and community-oriented secondary school in Hackney. This is a full-time, permanent role starting January 2026. • Geography Teacher required full-time from January 2026 • Community-oriented and well-maintained comprehensive school in Hackney • Join a strong Humanities department with geography strengths This is a rewarding position for someone who loves to teach both human and physical geography, fieldwork, map skills, environmental issues, and global development. You’ll teach KS3 and KS4, potentially overseeing GCSE Geography, designing engaging field trips, project-based learning, and environmental awareness programmes. The role includes supporting cross-curricular themes such as sustainability and global citizenship. Experience and Qualifications • Qualified Geography Teacher with QTS or equivalent • Strong knowledge of physical and human geography, fieldwork design skills • Experience or willingness to run trips and geography-related enrichment activities • Legal right to work in the UK School Information This safe and clean comprehensive school in Hackney combines strong academic aspirations with a nurturing and inclusive culture.
