Job description
A highly selective independent Mixed School in Islington, Inner London, celebrated for its academic rigour and outstanding university progression, is seeking an ECT of Biology to join their permanent, full-time faculty, starting January 2026. Compensation & Contract Job Title: ECT of Biology Contract: Permanent, Full-Time Start Date: January 2026 Salary: Highly competitive independent school salary (above state sector), with specific ECT allowances. The Role The new ECT of Biology will teach KS3 Science and Biology up to GCSE, maintaining the school's high academic standards. The ECT of Biology will benefit from excellent staff-to-pupil ratios and advanced laboratory facilities.
