Job description
Computer Science Teacher required to start in September Outstanding School in Leicester Exciting opportunity to join a highly successful and well-resourced Computer Science department Full-time position MPS/UPS Salary We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Computer Science teacher to join an Outstanding school in Leicester. The successful candidate will be teaching Computer Science to KS3/4, with the opportunity to also teach at KS5 (A-Level). The Computer Science department is highly regarded, with an excellent track record of success, and boasts a strong, supportive environment for both staff and students. The school is keen to receive applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs). School Information The school has been rated Outstanding by Ofsted and is known for its strong academic results and positive learning environment. The school is easily accessible by public transport and boasts a vibrant, collaborative staff community with students who are motivated and eager to learn. Experience and Qualifications Experience in teaching Computer Science to KS3/4, with potential to teach KS5 (A-Level). A degree in Computer Science or a related field. A teaching qualification with QTS. Legal ability to work within the UK. Specific Responsibilities Planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners. Assessing and recording student achievement, ensuring continuous progress. Managing classroom resources effectively to create a safe and stimulating learning environment. Promoting positive discipline and supporting student well-being. Building and maintaining positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Salary The salary will be paid in line with the teacher pay scale (MPS/UPS).
