Job description
Start Date: October Half-Term | Contract: Full-Time | Hours: Full-Time A well-regarded primary school in Hounslow is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable PPA Cover Teacher to join the team from October Half-Term . This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys delivering creative and engaging lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in a supportive and friendly environment. About the School The school has a welcoming, inclusive, and nurturing environment. Staff work collaboratively to provide high-quality education and support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development. The school prides itself on its strong pastoral care and commitment to professional development. Role Overview As the PPA Cover Teacher, you will: Deliver planned lessons across various subjects for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 during teachers’ PPA time. Ensure continuity of learning and maintain a positive, structured classroom environment. Support pupils’ engagement, behaviour, and progress during lessons. Collaborate with class teachers to follow lesson plans and use resources effectively. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching in primary education across KS1 and KS2. Strong classroom management, communication, and organisational skills. Reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to a variety of teaching situations. Passionate about supporting pupils’ learning and wellbeing.
