Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate PE Teacher to join a vibrant and well-respected secondary school in Coventry . This is a full-time, temporary position with an immediate start , teaching Physical Education from KS3 to KS5 . The school is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic PE Teacher who can inspire students and contribute to a supportive and high-performing department. Position: PE Teacher Location: Coventry Start Date: Immediate Contract: Full-time, Temporary Teaching: PE to KS3, KS4, and KS5 Experience: ECTs and experienced PE Teachers welcome to apply School Information This inclusive and high-achieving secondary school is known for its strong pastoral care, student engagement, and commitment to both academic and extracurricular excellence. PE is a valued subject, with excellent indoor and outdoor facilities and a thriving sports culture. The department runs regular fixtures, clubs, and enrichment activities, and works closely with the wider school community to promote physical wellbeing. Role Expectations: Deliver engaging PE lessons to students across KS3–KS5 Promote a healthy and active lifestyle across the school Contribute to the extracurricular sports programme Monitor student progress and maintain high standards of behaviour Requirements: A degree in Physical Education or a related field QTS or PGCE Ability to teach PE to KS3–KS5 Passion for student achievement and physical development Salary: The salary for this PE Teacher role will be paid to scale (MPS/UPS), dependent on experience.
