SEN Teacher – Autism Provision – Mainstream Primary School – Ealing Role: SEN Teacher (Autism Provision) Nature: Full-Time, Permanent Start: ASAP Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance A thriving and inclusive mainstream primary school in Ealing is seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join their dedicated team in the Autism Provision . This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for supporting children with autism to create an enriching, engaging, and supportive environment, enabling students to thrive both academically and socially. Role Highlights: Full-time, permanent position at a mainstream primary school in Ealing with a dedicated Autism Provision Work with students with autism , providing tailored teaching and support to meet their specific needs Plan and deliver individualized lessons , focusing on communication, social skills, and academic progress Create and implement differentiated strategies to ensure accessibility and success for all students in the autism provision Foster a safe and inclusive environment , where students feel valued, supported, and able to express themselves Collaborate closely with SENCo , support staff , and external professionals to ensure holistic and integrated support for each child Regularly assess and track students' progress , adjusting teaching methods and interventions as needed Communicate with parents and carers , providing updates and strategies for supporting their child at home Experience & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential Experience working with students on the autism spectrum in an SEN or mainstream school setting Knowledge of autism-specific teaching strategies , including the use of visual supports, social stories, and structured routines A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to teaching Strong communication and teamwork skills , with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, parents, and external professionals A strong commitment to providing inclusive education and meeting the diverse needs of students Enhanced DBS check required Why Join Us?
