Job description
Are you a passionate and imaginative Art Teacher looking to inspire the next generation of young creatives? We are seeking a dedicated Art Teacher to join a supportive and creative school in Slough, starting in January 2026. This is a full-time, permanent position and is open to both experienced teachers and ECTs. About the Art Department The Art Department is vibrant, welcoming, and consistently successful. It benefits from modern studios, a digital arts suite, specialist equipment, and an in-school gallery that showcases exceptional student work. The department celebrates experimentation, creative risk-taking, and cross-media artistic practice. About the Role As an Art Teacher, your responsibilities will include: • Teaching Art across Key Stages 3 and 4 • Delivering engaging lessons that develop creativity and technical skill • Supporting students with portfolio preparation and project work • Creating resources and contributing to curriculum development • Encouraging participation in exhibitions and competitions • Maintaining an inspiring classroom environment • Engaging in professional development and ECT induction activities Experience and Qualifications • Art or Fine Art related degree • PGCE or QTS • Art Teacher Salary Paid to scale – MPS/UPS Application Please send your CV as soon as possible to be considered for this Art Teacher role.
