Receptionist – Good Secondary School – London Borough of Hounslow Start Date: As soon as possible Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to scale School Information This Good 11–18 secondary school in the London Borough of Hounslow is known for its inclusive ethos, improving academic performance, and supportive leadership. The school serves a culturally diverse community and maintains strong pastoral systems. The reception area plays a vital role as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and students. Professionalism and safeguarding are central to daily operations. To strengthen front-of-house services, the school is seeking an organised and welcoming Receptionist. Role Overview The Receptionist will manage daily reception duties and provide administrative support. Key responsibilities include: Greeting visitors and managing sign-in procedures Answering telephone calls and directing enquiries Supporting safeguarding procedures for visitors Handling post and deliveries Assisting with attendance recording Updating student records Supporting administrative tasks Maintaining reception organisation Assisting during emergencies Ensuring confidentiality The role requires strong interpersonal skills and efficiency. Administrative Team The Receptionist works alongside the School Administrator and Attendance Officer in a structured office team.
