Job description
We are currently seeking an ambitious, inspiring and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join an excellent, well-established and forward-thinking secondary school in Dartford. This full-time, permanent role begins January 2026 and is ideal for someone eager to teach in an academically strong environment with exceptional facilities. About the Science Department • Modern laboratories with up-to-date equipment and fully equipped prep rooms • Specialist teachers in Biology, Chemistry and Physics • Dedicated technician support • Practical, enquiry-based learning model with hands-on investigations • Strong GCSE outcomes and increasing interest in post-16 science pathways About the Role • Teaching general Science across KS3–KS4 • Delivering high-quality practical and theoretical lessons • Preparing students for GCSE examinations and supporting intervention • Contributing to departmental planning, curriculum development and enrichment • Inspiring curiosity, critical thinking and scientific understanding Experience and Qualifications • Degree in Science or related discipline • PGCE with QTS • Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication Salary MPS/UPS.
