Job description
Are you a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher seeking a new opportunity in an outstanding school? We are looking for an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a thriving department in a high-achieving school in Reading, starting in January 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position and we welcome applications from experienced Science Teachers as well as ECTs. About the Science Department The Science department is a vibrant and successful part of the school, with a strong track record of producing high-quality productions and fostering a love of Science in students. The department has excellent facilities, including a well-equipped theatre and Science studio. As a Science Teacher you will have the opportunity to contribute to the department's continued success and shape the future of Science education at the school. About the Role As a Science Teacher , your responsibilities will include: Teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4. Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a diverse range of learners. Assessing student progress, setting targets, and providing constructive feedback. Contributing to the Science department's curriculum development and resource creation. Directing and producing school productions. Creating and maintaining a stimulating and supportive learning environment. Working collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the school. Participating in relevant professional development opportunities. Experience and Qualifications Science related Degree QTS or PGCE Science Teacher Salary The salary for this Science Teacher position will be paid to scale MPS/UPS.
