Job description
Are you a passionate psychology/sociology teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in a vibrant school community? We are seeking a dedicated psychology/sociology teacher to join a well-established school in Brackley on a temporary basis from April 23rd to June 30th. The successful candidate will teach psychology and sociology across KS4 and KS5, with some PSHCE lessons included. Full-time position Located in Brackley MPS/UPS Salary Psychology/sociology teacher role starting April 23rd until June 30th Supportive and collaborative department School Information The school’s Humanities and Social Sciences department is a dynamic and forward-thinking team that prides itself on delivering engaging and thought-provoking psychology and sociology lessons. The department offers strong support to staff, ensuring teachers have access to comprehensive resources and effective mentoring. With a curriculum designed to foster critical thinking and student engagement, the successful psychology/sociology teacher will join a dedicated team committed to student success. Experience and Qualifications Degree in psychology, sociology, or a related subject PGCE or QTS Experience teaching psychology and sociology at KS4 and KS5 Ability to deliver engaging PSHCE lessons Salary The salary for this psychology/sociology teacher position will be paid to scale on a temporary contract (MPS/UPS).
