This is a fantastic opportunity to work with students who have faced challenges in mainstream education and help them express themselves through the creative arts in a supportive, inclusive, and structured environment. Role Highlights: Full-time, permanent position at an exceptional Alternative Provision in Enfield Teach Art to students with a range of special educational needs, including autism (ASC), emotional and mental health (SEMH), and moderate learning difficulties Plan and deliver dynamic, engaging, and differentiated Art lessons that encourage students’ creativity and self-expression Foster a love of the arts by integrating various mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital arts Work closely with teaching assistants, the SENCO, and other staff to create individualized learning plans and ensure all students are supported Track student progress, offering tailored support to help them build their skills and confidence Create a positive, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment that promotes self-expression and personal development Experience & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience teaching Art at secondary level, ideally within an alternative provision or SEN setting Strong subject knowledge in Art and the ability to inspire and engage students in a creative curriculum A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to teaching students with additional needs Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills Enhanced DBS check required Why Join Us?
