Job description
An Outstanding Ofsted-rated Secondary School in Hampshire, with a highly successful performing arts faculty, seeks an inspiring and experienced professional to lead its Drama department. Job Title: Head of Drama (with Teaching Responsibility) Contract: Permanent, Full-Time Start Date: January 2026 Salary: Paid on the Main/Upper Teachers' Pay Scales (MPS/UPS) plus a significant TLR. The Role: The teacher will lead and manage the Drama department, delivering high-quality teaching across Key Stages 3, 4 (GCSE), and 5 (A-Level). They will direct school productions, manage the budget, and oversee curriculum development. Requirements Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Has the right to work in the UK. Possesses substantial experience teaching and leading Drama at KS3/4/5.
