Job description
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious teacher of Psychology to join an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ school. The school is looking for either an ECT or an experienced Psychology Teacher to teach on a full-time and temporary basis , beginning after Easter 2025 . Located in Stoke-on-Trent , the school is well-regarded in the area for its academic success, and it offers a supportive and inclusive teaching environment. April (Easter) start Temporary position Psychology Teacher role Teaching Psychology to KS4 and KS5 Stoke-on-Trent MPS1 – UPS3 Salary Full-time ECT or experienced teacher welcome to apply School Information – Psychology Teacher The successful candidate will join a thriving and high-achieving Social Sciences department committed to delivering excellence in Psychology. The department promotes student curiosity and critical thinking, with strong A-Level results that consistently exceed national expectations. The school places a strong emphasis on staff development and wellbeing, offering a structured CPD programme and opportunities for progression. The Psychology department is well-resourced and supported by experienced colleagues, making it a fantastic environment for both new and established teachers. Experience and Qualifications – Psychology Teacher Degree in Psychology or a related subject QTS or PGCE Ability to teach Psychology to KS4 and KS5 Strong classroom management skills and a passion for the subject Salary The salary for this Psychology Teacher position will be paid to scale MPS/UPS, dependent on experience.
